LAS ANIMAS COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST COLORADO... * UNTIL 245 PM MDT. * AT 139 PM MDT NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR SHOWED THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORMS WERE 7 MILES EAST OF BRANSON...OR ABOUT 39 MILES EAST OF RATON...AND 3 MILES EAST OF KIM...MOVING EAST AT 15 MPH. * SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED WILL BE... TOBE AROUND 205 PM MDT... VILLE GREEN AROUND 230 PM MDT... KIM AROUND 140 PM MDT. INTENSE LIGHTNING IS ALSO OCCURRING. IF CAUGHT OUTDOORS...STAY AWAY FROM WATER...METAL OBJECTS...AND ISOLATED TALL OBJECTS SUCH AS TREES.
