THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN NASHVILLE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FENTRESS COUNTY IN TENNESSEE
  PICKETT COUNTY IN TENNESSEE

* UNTIL 815 AM CDT

* AT 512 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LARGE    
  AREA OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL IN 
  THE BYRDSTOWN AND JAMESTOWN AREAS. DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES THAT    
  SOME PLACES WITHIN THE WARNED AREA HAVE RECEIVED IN EXCESS OF 1.5  
  INCHES OF RAIN DURING THE PAST HOUR. WITH MOST OF THE ACTIVITY YET 
  TO MAKE IT THROUGH THESE AREAS, MUCH MORE RAINFALL IS EXPECTED,    
  AND SOME FLOODING IS LIKELY.

* TOWNS IN THE WARNED AREA INCLUDE BYRDSTOWN, JAMESTOWN, ALLARDT,    
  AND CLARKRANGE.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLASH FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR
IMMINENT. MOST FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO
CROSS BRIDGES, DIPS, OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM, EVEN A SMALL ONE, ON FOOT. TO
ESCAPE RISING WATER, MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
