* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF LAWRENCEBURG

* AT 145 PM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY 
RAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA. RAINFALL RATES OF 1 INCH TO 1.5 INCHES 
PER HOUR WERE ESTIMATED BETWEEN NOON AND 1 PM CST. RAINFALL TOTALS 
SINCE THE RAIN BEGAN THIS MORNING HAVE EXCEEDED 2 INCHES. 

* AN ADDITIONAL ONE INCH OF RAIN IS LIKELY BETWEEN 2 PM AND 4 PM. 
THE ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL LIKELY PRODUCE ENOUGH RUNOFF TO CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS AND IN LOW LYING AREAS.

CITIES AFFECTED INCLUDE WAYNESBORO...LAWRENCEBURG...HOHENWALD

AT 524 PM CST...WEATHER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL CONTINUING
TO MOVE INTO SOUTHWEST MIDDLE TENNESSEE. RAINFALL TOTALS HAVE EXCEEDED 
THREE INCHES AT SOME LOCATIONS IN NORTHERN WAYNE AND LAWRENCE COUNTIES.
AN ADDITIONAL ONE INCH OF RAIN IS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND WILL PROLONG
THE FLOODING.      

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OF WATER TO FLOAT A VEHICLE.
