THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  LAWRENCE COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 1 PM CDT

* AT 1127 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER 
OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS OVER LAWRENCE COUNTY NORTH OF 
MONTICELLO...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 5 MPH.

RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 2 INCHES IN AN HOUR HAVE BEEN 
OBSERVED OVER LAWRENCE COUNTY TO THE NORTH OF MONTICELLO. THIS WILL 
LIKELY CAUSE FLOODING OF ROADS...SMALL STREAMS...AND LOW LYING 
AREAS. THE MOST LIKELY AREA FOR FLOODING WILL BE NEAR WANILLA AND 
SILVER CREEK...AND ALONG THE FAIR RIVER AND CROOKED CREEK.
