* AT 743 PM EST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN 5 MILES NORTHWEST OF WEST LAFAYETTE...OR ABOUT 9 MILES        
  NORTHWEST OF LAFAYETTE...MOVING NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. RAINFALL OF   
  AROUND AN INCH CAN BE EXPECTED. ADDITIONAL STORMS ARE ALSO

COUNTIES UNTIL 1045 PM EST...

WEATHER SERVICE RADAR ESTIMATED THAT 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAD
FALLEN ACROSS EXTREME NORTHERN TIPPECANOE AND WEST CENTRAL
CARROLL COUNTIES IN THE PAST 3 HOURS. THUNDERSTORMS WILL CONTINUE
TO TRAIN ACROSS THE WARNED AREA FOR AT LEAST THE NEXT COUPLE OF
HOURS WITH ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN POSSIBLE.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN VEHICLES.  DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE
INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY OR PAST POLICE BARRICADES.
BE ESPECIALLY CAREFUL DRIVING AT NIGHT AS THE DEPTH OF THE WATER IS
