* AT 819 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED
THAT 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN SINCE 5 PM CDT ACROSS NORTHERN
PORTIONS OF DAKOTA COUNTY. MORE THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO TRACK
OVER THIS AREA THROUGH MIDNIGHT...BRINGING MORE RAINFALL TO THE
AREA. IF YOU LIVE ALONG THE ELK CREEK...LOOK FOR RAPIDLY RISING
WATER SHOULD THE CREEK FLOW OVER ITS BANKS.

AT 1030 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAD MOVED NORTH OF THE MISSOURI RIVER...INTO SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA. OBSERVERS IN THE MARTINSBURG AND JACKSON AREAS REPORTED IN EXCESS OF THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL EARLIER THIS EVENING...HOWEVER NO FURTHER FLOODING HAD BEEN REPORTED AS OF 1030 PM CDT. ALTHOUGH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP OVER EXTREME NORTHEAST NEBRASKA LATER TONIGHT...ADDITIONAL EXCESSIVE RAINFALL IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
