* AT 714 PM CDT...DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS
DIXON COUNTY. RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES RANGED FROM 3 TO 3.5 INCHES
BETWEEN MARTINSBURG AND NEWCASTLE. ADDITIONAL THUNDERSTORMS ARE ALSO
EXPECTED ACROSS THIS AREA THROUGHOUT THE EVENING...BRINGING MORE
RAINFALL TO THE AREA.
AT 713 PM CDT...TRAINED WEATHER SPOTTERS REPORTED THAT THE DAILY
CREEK WAS RUNNING OUT OF ITS BANKS WEST OF MARTINSBURG.
BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT

AT 1030 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL HAD MOVED NORTH OF THE MISSOURI RIVER...INTO SOUTHEAST SOUTH DAKOTA. OBSERVERS IN THE MARTINSBURG AND JACKSON AREAS REPORTED IN EXCESS OF THREE INCHES OF RAINFALL EARLIER THIS EVENING...HOWEVER NO FURTHER FLOODING HAD BEEN REPORTED AS OF 1030 PM CDT. ALTHOUGH SCATTERED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO REDEVELOP OVER EXTREME NORTHEAST NEBRASKA LATER TONIGHT...ADDITIONAL EXCESSIVE RAINFALL IS NOT EXPECTED AT THIS TIME.
