THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN CLAYTON COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA
  FAYETTE COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 900 AM EDT

* AT 641 AM EDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS CONTINUE TO REPORT 
SEVERAL ROADS CLOSED AND EVACUATIONS DUE TO RISING CREEKS ACROSS 
FAYETTE AND SOUTHERN CLAYTON COUNTIES.  MOST OF THE RAIN HAS TAPERED 
OFF IN THIS REGION BUT SIGNIFICANT RUNOFF WILL CONTINUE THROUGH THE 
MORNING HOURS.  DRIVERS SHOULD ALLOW EXTRA TIME FOR THE MORNING 
COMMUTE.

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS
BRIDGES...DIPS...OR OTHER LOW SPOTS IF WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. TWO
FEET OF RUSHING WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST VEHICLES...INCLUDING SUVS
AND PICKUPS. NEVER TRY TO CROSS A FLOWING STREAM...EVEN A SMALL
