THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PEACHTREE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  GWINNETT COUNTY IN NORTH CENTRAL GEORGIA

* UNTIL 730 AM EDT

* AT 525 AM EDT...GWINNETT COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT OFFICIALS 
REPORTED FLOODING ACROSS SEVERAL ROADS ACROSS THE COUNTY FROM THE 
HEAVY RAINS EARLIER IN THE MORNING. RADAR INDICATED THE HEAVIEST 
RAIN FELL ACROSS THE SHOAL CREEK...JACKSON CREEK...AND REDLAND CREEK 
WATERSHEDS.  

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS 
SAFELY. TWO FEET OF RUSHING WATER CAN CARRY AWAY MOST 
VEHICLES...INCLUDING SUVS AND PICKUPS. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING 
WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
