SOUTHERN WALKER COUNTY IN NORTHWEST GEORGIA * UNTIL 1000 PM EDT * AT 752 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN 8 MILES SOUTHEAST OF LAFAYETTE...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 5 MPH. RADAR ESTIMATES AS MUCH AS 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN THE LAFAYETTE GEORGIA AREA DURING THE PAST 2 HOURS. SMALL STREAMS AND CREEKS WILL LIKELY COME OUT OF THEIR BANKS AND CAUSE FLASH FLOODING. A FEW OF THE STREAMS THAT WILL LIKELY BE EFFECTED INCLUDE GREENBUSH BRANCH...WEST ARMUCHEE CREEK...AND TOWN CREEK.
