THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  SHANNON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI
  EASTERN TEXAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 330 PM CDT

* AT 232 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO THE SIZE OF
  QUARTERS...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS
  LOCATED 11 MILES SOUTHEAST OF HOUSTON...AND MOVING EAST AT 40 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
   SUMMERSVILLE BY 250 PM CDT.
   EMINENCE BY 310 PM CDT.

THE TOWNS OF EUNICE...ARROLL...HARTSHORN...ALLEY SPRING AND ROUND
SPRING ARE ALSO IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO 
GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS 
IMMEDIATELY LIGHTNING IS ONE OF NATURES NUMBER ON KILLERS.
