THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  WESTERN SHANNON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI
  SOUTHEASTERN TEXAS COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 400 AM CDT

* AT 257 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A
  SEVERE THUNDERSTORM CAPABLE OF PRODUCING HAIL TO THE SIZE OF
  QUARTERS...AND DAMAGING WINDS IN EXCESS OF 60 MPH.  THIS STORM WAS
  LOCATED 11 MILES NORTHEAST OF WILLOW SPRINGS...OR 13 MILES SOUTH OF
  HOUSTON...AND MOVING EAST AT 30 MPH.

* THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WILL BE NEAR...
   SUMMERSVILLE BY 320 AM CDT.

THE TOWNS OF CLEAR SPRINGS...ARROLL...PINE CREST AND ALLEY SPRING ARE
ALSO IN THE PATH OF THIS STORM.

IN ADDITION TO LARGE HAIL AND DAMAGING WINDS...CONTINUOUS CLOUD TO
GROUND LIGHTNING IS OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM. MOVE INDOORS
IMMEDIATELY LIGHTNING IS ONE OF NATURES NUMBER ONE KILLERS.
