THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BLACKSBURG HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  TAZEWELL COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST VIRGINIA

* UNTIL 900 PM EDT.

* AT 557 PM EDT...LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS IN BLUEFIELD VIRGINIA 
REPORTED WIDESPREAD FLOODING IN AND AROUND BLUEFIELD.  SOME ROADS 
ARE WASHED OUT AS WELL.  

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE 
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING ON SMALL STREAMS THROUGHOUT THE COUNTY.
