* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN MONMOUTH COUNTY IN CENTRAL NEW JERSEY 
  OCEAN COUNTY IN SOUTHERN NEW JERSEY

* UNTIL 845 PM EDT.

* AT 537 PM EDT...VERY HEAVY RAIN IN EXCESS OF 4 TO 5 INCHES WAS
CAUSING STREET AND HIGHWAY FLOODING THIS EVENING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS OCCURRING OR IS
IMMINENT. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE
YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. THE WATER
DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. VEHICLES
CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO HIGHER
GROUND.
