THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  EAU CLAIRE COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL WISCONSIN

* UNTIL 945 PM CDT

* AT 350 PM CDT...THE PUBLIC REPORTED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY        
  HEAVY RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA. STRONG THUNDERSTORMS OVER EAU     
  CLAIRE COUNTY...WILL MOVE EAST OF THE COUNTY BY 5                  
  PM...HOWEVER...MORE THUNDERSTORMS WERE LINING UP TO THE            
  SOUTHWEST...AND WILL MOVE OVER EAU CLAIRE COUNTY THROUGH THE EARLY 
  EVENING HOURS.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE 
  WARNED AREA. REPORTS OF RAINFALL RATES OF MORE THAN 1.5 INCHES PER 
  HOUR HAVE BEEN REPORTED IN EAU CLAIRE IN THE LAST HOUR. THIS HEAVY 
  RAIN...IN ADDITION TO TOTAL RAINFALL APPROACHING 4 INCHES WILL     
  CAUSE RAPID RUNOFF AND URBAN FLOODING IN THE TOWN OF EAU CLAIRE.   
  SMALL STREAMS AND DRAINAGE DITCHES WILL ALSO FLOOD.
