THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE TWIN CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  FARIBAULT COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA
  MARTIN COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MINNESOTA

* UNTIL 900 PM CDT

* AT 556 PM CDT...RADAR INDICATED A CLUSTER OF STRONG                
  THUNDERSTORMS OVER MARTIN COUNTY...AND OVER SOUTHERN               
  FARIBAULT COUNTY. MORE STORMS WERE OVER JACKSON COUNTY...AND WILL  
  MOVE OVER THE WARNED AREA THROUGH 7 PM.

* THUNDERSTORMS ARE CONTINUOUSLY REDEVELOPING OVER THE WARNED AREA...
  RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE RAINFALL.

RAINFALL RATES OF 2 TO 3 INCHES PER HOUR ARE LIKELY ALONG INTERSTATE 
90 IN FARIBAULT AND MARTIN COUNTIES. THIS WILL CAUSE RAPID FLOODING 
OF LOW LYING AREAS...AND IN URBAN AREAS. SMALL STREAMS WILL SEE 
RAPID RISES...WHICH WILL NEED TO BE MONITORED.

ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER
COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE
ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.
