  SOUTH CENTRAL GREENE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI

* AT 207 PM CST...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY
  RAIN OVER BENNDALE...OR ABOUT 12 MILES SOUTHWEST OF LUCEDALE. THE 
  INDIVIDUAL STORM CELLS WERE MOVING NORTHEAST ABOUT 20 MPH.

* THE THUNDERSTORM WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL REMAIN...

...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH CONTINUES IN EFFECT FOR SOUTHEAST MISSISSIPPI 
UNTIL 600 AM CST TUESDAY MORNING...

AT 346 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE RADAR SHOWS A BAND OF 
THUNDERSTORMS...SOME PRODUCING HEAVY DOWNPOURS...EXTENDING FROM 
NORTHERN CLARK COUNTY ALABAMA TO WESTERN STONE COUNTY MISSISSIPPI. 
THE BAND OF STORMS WAS MOVING EAST AT 20 MPH. THESE STORMS WILL 
CONTINUE TO MOVE ACROSS THE REGION THROUGH THIS AFTERNOON...THEN 
DISSIPATE BRIEFLY FROM THE WEST THROUGH 4 PM. THE STORMS WILL BE 
CAPABLE OF PRODUCING GUSTY WINDS...SMALL HAIL...FREQUENT LIGHTNING 
STRIKES...AND VERY HEAVY RAIN. RAINFALL OF 3 TO 4 INCHES PER HOUR IS 
POSSIBLE WITH SOME STORMS. AS OF 130 PM...RAINFALL IN WESTERN GEORGE 
COUNTY WAS APPROACHING CRITICAL LEVELS.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THESE STORMS WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLOODING.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE 
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW A SAFE CROSSING.
