ONSLOW COUNTY IN EASTERN NORTH CAROLINA * UNTIL 700 PM EDT * AT 448 PM EDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING TORRENTIAL FLOODING DOWNPOURS OVER JACKSONVILLE. THE AREA OF HEAVY RAIN WAS NEARLY STATIONARY. * FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED IN AND AROUND... JACKSONVILLE. HALF MOON. PINEY GREEN. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...URBAN AREAS...HIGHWAYS...AND STREETS...AS AS WELL AS OTHER DRAINAGE AREAS AND LOW LYING SPOTS.
