THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN ECTOR COUNTY IN WEST TEXAS

* UNTIL 1245 AM CDT

* AT 941 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS      
  PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL 6 MILES WEST OF PLEASANT             
  FARMS...OR ABOUT 14 MILES SOUTH OF ODESSA.  THE STORMS WERE NEARLY 
  STATIONARY.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED INCLUDE...
  PLEASANT FARMS...FM 1601...AND U.S. HIGHWAY 385 IN SOUTHERN ECTOR  
  COUNTY.

FLOODING WAS REPORTED ALONG FM 1601 SOUTH OF INTERSTATE 20 AT 925 PM.

IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT QUICKLY MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO 
ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE OVER A FLOODED ROAD. THE
ROAD MAY BE WASHED OUT.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS DIFFICULT TO RECOGNIZE
FLOOD DANGERS. DO NOT DRIVE INTO FLOODED AREAS.
