AND NORTHERN BREWSTER COUNTIES...
AT 624 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR CONTINUED TO
DETECT THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAINFALL ACROSS MUCH OF
JEFF DAVIS AND NORTHERN BREWSTER COUNTIES. THESE STORMS WERE MOVING
NORTHEAST AT 10 TO 15 MPH. THESE STORMS WERE DECREASING IN COVERAGE
AND INTENSITY...HOWEVER...RAINFALL RATES OF 1 TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR
WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THE STRONGEST STORMS.
DO NOT DRIVE ACROSS FLOODED ROADWAYS. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR
IN AUTOMOBILES. IF OUTDOORS...MOVE UP TO AVOID RISING WATER. DO
