THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN ST LOUIS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  AUDRAIN COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI
  BOONE COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI
  CALLAWAY COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSOURI
  MONTGOMERY COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 445 AM CDT

* AT 1047 PM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A LINE OF 
THUNDERSTORMS 20 MILES WEST OF MACON SOUTH TO MARSHALL...THEN 
SOUTHWEST TO WARRENSBURG. THIS LINE OF STORMS IS QUITE BROAD...OVER 
30 MILES WIDE...AND IS MOVING TO THE EAST AT 30 MPH. 

THIS IS THE THIRD LINE OF STORMS TO PASS THROUGH THE AREA TONIGHT. 
PRIOR RAINFALL AMOUNTS GENERALLY HAVE BEEN 1 TO 2 INCHES AND 
ANOTHER 1 TO LOCALLY 2 INCHES OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE WITH THIS 
STORM COMPLEX. 

THE GROUND IS SO WET THAT NEARLY ALL THE RAIN THAT FALLS WILL RUN 
OFF. THIS WILL ADD TO THE FLOODING POTENTIAL FROM THESE STORMS.

FLASH FLOODING CAN BE EXPECTED ACROSS THE AREA...AND WILL BE   
AFFECTING THE COMMUNITIES OF COLUMBIA...FULTON...MEXICO...AND 
MONTGOMERY CITY.  

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODING. ACT QUICKLY IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED. MOVE
TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY IN AREAS SUBJECT
TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
