THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN JACKSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  RANKIN COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
  SIMPSON COUNTY IN CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 1005 AM CDT

* AT 703 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED            
  THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM BRANDON TO 9 MILES    
  NORTHWEST OF MENDENHALL...MOVING SOUTH AT 15 MPH.

RADAR ESTIMATED RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN 
OVER THE PAST TWO HOURS. THESE THUNDERSTORMS ARE REDEVELOPING BACK 
TO THE NORTH AND WILL MOVE OVER THE SAME AREAS THAT HAVE RECEIVED 
THE HEAVIEST RAINFALL. THROUGH 10 AM...AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES 
OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE OVER THE WARNED AREA. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF YOU ARE IN THE WARNING AREA MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG STREAMS AND CREEKS SHOULD TAKE IMMEDIATE
PRECAUTIONS TO PROTECT LIFE AND PROPERTY.
