  SANGAMON COUNTY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 415 PM CDT

* AT 1016 AM CDT...DUE TO HEAVY RAINFALL OF 2 TO 3 INCHES ACROSS
  SANGAMON COUNTY OVERNIGHT AND THIS MORNING...WATER WILL CONTINUE TO
  BE RELEASED FROM SPAULDING DAM AT LAKE SPRINGFIELD.

* THIS RELEASE OF WATER WILL CAUSE RAPID RISES ON SUGAR CREEK...
  DOWNSTREAM FROM SPAULDING DAM. RAPID FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS
  ALONG THE CREEK WILL RESULT.
