THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN LINCOLN HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DE WITT COUNTY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 7 PM CDT

* AT 235 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  STRONG THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN CONTINUING TO DEVELOP
  ALONG AND SOUTH OF ROUTE 54 FROM KENNEY TO CLINTON TO FARMER CITY. 
  RAINFALL ESTIMATES WERE APPROACHING 2 INCHES AN HOUR. 

* THUNDERSTORMS WITH EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CONTINUE ACROSS THE
  AREA THROUGH AT LEAST 4 PM. EXCESSIVE RAINFALL AMOUNTS ARE LIKELY 
  ALONG WITH THE POTENTIAL FOR FLASH FLOODING. 

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF IN A FLOOD PRONE AREA...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
