* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  MENARD COUNTY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  LOGAN COUNTY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  MASON COUNTY IN CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  CASS COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  SCHUYLER COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* AT 1235 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  MODERATE TO LOCALLY HEAVY RAINS CONTINUING FROM VIRGINIA NORTHEAST TO
  LAWNDALE. DOPPLER RADAR RAINFALL ESTIMATES SINCE 900 AM RANGE FROM
  ONE TO TWO INCHES ACROSS THE AREA. RADAR CONTINUES TO SHOW ADDITIONAL
  SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ACROSS WESTERN ILLINOIS AND NORTHEAST 
  MISSOURI MOVING NORTHEAST INTO WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS. THE ADDITIONAL
  RAINFALL AMOUNTS WILL LIKELY CAUSE SOME FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT OR OCCURRING.
IF IN A FLOOD PRONE AREA...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY.
RESIDENTS LIVING ALONG CREEKS AND STREAMS ARE ESPECIALLY VULNERABLE
TO THE EFFECTS OF FLASH FLOODING. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO CROSS FLOODED
AREAS BY FOOT OR AUTOMOBILE. IT ONLY TAKES A FOOT OR TWO OF WATER TO 
WASH MOST VEHICLES AWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATERS SHOULD BE 
ABANDONED QUICKLY.
