THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SIOUX FALLS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  WOODBURY COUNTY IN NORTHWEST IOWA
  DIXON COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA
  DAKOTA COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NEBRASKA

* UNTIL 930 AM CDT

* AT 731 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING OVER THE WARNED AREA.

RAINFALL RATES OF MORE THAN 2 INCHES PER HOUR...AND 0.5 INCH IN 10 
TO 15 MINUTES...ARE BEING OBSERVED IN THE WARNED AREA AND WILL 
CONTINUE THROUGH 800 AM. RUNOFF FROM THESE INTENSE RAINFALLS WILL 
LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING ON SMALL CREEKS AND URBAN FLOODING OF ROADS 
AND INTERSECTIONS THROUGH 930 AM.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY.
MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER
LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
