WALSH COUNTY IN NORTHEAST NORTH DAKOTA. * UNTIL 200 AM CDT. * AT 756 PM...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN...MOVEMENT WAS TO THE NORTHEAST AT 20 MPH. * THE CITY OF PARK RIVER WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN. RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF TO 3 INCHES HAVE FALLEN DURING THE PAST COUPLE OF HOURS IN THE PARK RIVER AREA RESULTING IN FLOODING OF ROADWAYS AND OVERLAND FLOODING. ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL IS EXPECTED DURING THE NEXT HOUR OR SO AS SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS CONTINUE OVER THE AREA. MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES.
