713 PM CDT THU JUL 25 2002

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN GRAND FORKS HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...

  EASTERN CLAY COUNTY IN NORTHWEST MINNESOTA.

* UNTIL 915 PM CDT.

* AT 711 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED 
SLOW   MOVING THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN 20 MILES EAST OF 
MOORHEAD. MOVEMENT WAS TO THE SOUTHEAST AT 15 MPH.

* HAWLEY AND FELTON WILL BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN.  THIS STORM WILL 
LIKELY PRODUCE RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO TWO INCHES. THIS AREA RECIEVED 
HEAVY RAINFALL LAST NIGHT AND ANY ADDITIONAL RAINFALL WILL RESULT IN 
RAPID RUNOFF. 

MOST FLASH FLOOD DEATHS OCCUR IN AUTOMOBILES. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR
VEHICLE INTO WATER OF UNKNOWN DEPTH. ONE OR TWO FEET OF WATER WILL
FLOAT MOST CARS DOWNSTREAM.
