CAPES RUN FROM 3500 WEST TO 2500 EAST. SOUNDINGS STRONG DIRECTIONAL SHEAR IN LOW LEVELS AND MODERATE SPEED SHEAR ALOFT. SUPERCELLS ARE LIKELY... EVEN AS HEATING BEGINS TO DECLINE. STORM MOVEMENT HAS ERRATIC... VARYING FROM NELY TO ELY TO SELY...BUT SPEED HAS BEEN FAST ENOUGH TO AVOID FLOODING. STORMS CONTINUING TO FORM WEST OF RIO GRANDE...WITH HILL COUNTRY ANOTHER TARGET. AN UPPER LOW WILL SKIRT ACROSS EASTERN COUNTIES AFTER FROPA KEEPING CHANCE OF SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS IN THAT AREA THROUGH FRIDAY.
