THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE QUAD CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  HENDERSON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS
  WARREN COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL ILLINOIS

* UNTIL 300 AM CDT

* AT 1100 PM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED A SECONDARY ROAD 
SOUTH OF OLENA IN THE VICINITY OF HONEY CREEK UNDER WATER. NATIONAL 
WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN 
PRODUCING THUNDERSTORMS MOVING UP OUT OF NORTHEAST MISSOURI AND 
SOUTHWEST IOWA TOWARD THE WARNED AREA. THESE ADDITIONAL STORMS WILL 
AGGRAVATE ONGOING FLOODING SITUATIONS...OR EVEN CREATE NEW ONES.

PEOPLE WITH INTERESTS ALONG HONEY AND SWAN CREEKS WILL WANT TO 
MONITOR THEM FOR RISING WATER.

* THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEEN SATURATED BY RECENT RAINFALL...
  ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAIN HAS RESULTED IN EXCESSIVE RUNOFF...LEADING
  THE LIKELIHOOD OF FLASH FLOODING IN THE WARNED AREA.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED...
QUICKLY MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS.
