THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN THE QUAD CITIES HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DES MOINES COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST IOWA

* UNTIL 345 AM CDT

* AT 1041 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR    
  INDICATED   THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN WERE LOCATED 
  OVER SOUTHERN LEE COUNTY...GENERALLY SOUTH OF AN OQUAWKA...MIDDLETOWN
  LINE.

* NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATES INDICATE THAT UP
  TO 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN OVER PORTIONS OF THE WARNED
  AREA DURING THE PAST HOUR. THIS RAIN...AND THE ADDITIONAL EXPECTED 
  HEAVY RAINFALL WILL CAUSE LOCAL STREAMS AND RIVERS TO RISE RAPIDLY 
  AND OVERFLOW THEIR BANKS.

* SOME STREET FLOODING HAS BEEN REPORTED IN BURLINGTON.

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
