THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN DODGE CITY HAS ISSUED A

* SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING FOR...
  FORD COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST KANSAS

* UNTIL 1215 AM CDT

* AT 1132 PM CDT...DODGE CITY DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A SEVERE
  THUNDERSTORM 3 MILES SOUTHWEST OF FT. DODGE...MOVING EAST AT 30
  MPH.

* SOME LOCATIONS AFFECTED
  DODGE CITY THROUGH 1150 PM CDT
  FORD AT 1145 PM CDT
  KINGSDOWN AT 1150 PM CDT
  BUCKLIN AT 1155 PM CDT

THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM IS CAPABLE OF PRODUCING...
  DAMAGING HAIL THE SIZE OF GOLFBALLS,
  DESTRUCTIVE WINDS UP TO 80 MILES AN HOUR,
  VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WHICH MAY CAUSE LOCALIZED FLOODING,

THIS WARNING REPLACES THE SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING PREVIOUSLY 
ISSUED FOR FORD COUNTY.

STAY AWAY FROM WINDOWS. HEAVY RAINS FLOOD ROADS QUICKLY SO DO NOT
DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD.
