CLEARFIELD COUNTY IN PENNSYLVANIA * UNTIL 545 PM EDT. * AT 230 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED A THUNDERSTORM WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL. SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING IN CENTRAL CLEARFIELD COUNTY FROM BURNSIDE TO CURWINSVILLE TO PINE GLENN. AT 225 PM...CLEARFIELD COUNTY EMERGENCY MANAGEMENT REPORTED THAT A SINKHOLE WAS DEVELOPING ON VILLAGE RODE IN HYDE IN WEST LAWRENCE TOWNSHIP DUE TO RAPID WATER RUNOFF. THE ROAD HAS BEEN CLOSED. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND. $$ DEVOIR/RXR
