THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN CORPUS CHRISTI HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  DUVAL COUNTY IN TEXAS
  JIM WELLS COUNTY
  LIVE OAK COUNTY
  MCMULLEN COUNTY

* UNTIL 445 AM CDT

* AT 1252 AM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
  VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER CLEGG...OR ABOUT 19 MILES SOUTHWEST OF GEORGE 
  WEST...MOVING NORTH AT 5 MPH. RAINFALL AMOUNTS UP TO 5 INCHES PER  
  HOUR WERE OCCURRING WITH THIS STORM...WHICH WILL CAUSE RAPID       
  FLOODING OF LOW LYING AREAS. OTHER HEAVY RAINS WERE DEVELOPING     
  OVER MOST OF DUVAL AND JIM WELLS COUNTIES...EXTENDING SOUTH INTO   
  THE RIO GRANDE VALLEY. TOTAL RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 5 TO 10 INCHES    
  ARE POSSIBLE OVERNIGHT. THIS IS A DANGEROUS FLOODING SITUATION. 

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF 
RAMIRENA CREEK...LAGARTO CREEK...AMARGOSA CREEK AND TORO CREEK...AS 
WELL AS OTHER CREEKS AND DRY WASHES IN DUVAL...JIM WELLS...LIVE OAK 
AND MCMULLEN COUNTIES.
