THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN BURLINGTON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHERN WASHINGTON COUNTY IN VERMONT

* UNTIL 615 PM EDT.

* AT 308 PM...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED       
  THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL MOVING ACROSS SOUTHERN 
  WASHINGTON COUNTY.

SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH 
FLOODING IN THE ROXBURY AREA ALONG THE THIRD BRANCH OF THE WHITE 
RIVER.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
