THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN AMARILLO HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SOUTHEASTERN OLDHAM COUNTY IN THE TEXAS PANHANDLE
  THIS INCLUDES THE CITY OF VEGA

* UNTIL 445 AM CDT

* AT 338 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR ESTIMATED THAT 3 TO  
  4 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN ALONG HIGHWAY 385 NORTH OF VEGA WITH   
  LOCALLY 5 TO 6 INCHES POSSIBLE. THE OLDHAM COUNTY SHERRIFS OFFICE  
  REPORTED ALMOST 3 INCHES OF RAIN HAD FALLEN IN VEGA ALONG          
  INTERSTATE 40. AN ADDITIONAL 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN CAN BE EXPECTED 
  AS THE HEAVY RAIN REMAINS NEARLY STATIONARY FOR THE NEXT HOUR.

* OTHER LOCATIONS IN THE WARNING INCLUDE WILDORADO

MOTORISTS WILL ENCOUNTER RAPIDLY RISING WATER AT UNDERPASSES...
