143 PM MST SUN AUG 12 2001

THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TUCSON HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  NORTHWESTERN PIMA COUNTY IN ARIZONA

* UNTIL 245 PM MST

* AT 140 PM MST...THE PIMA COUNTY SHERIFF/S OFFICE IN AJO REPORTED   
  THAT A FLASH FLOOD WAS IN PROGRESS.

THE STORM WHICH CAUSED THE FLASH FLOOD HAS MOVED OUT OF THE AREA. 
HOWEVER...NUMEROUS WASHES IN AJO WERE FULL OR FLOODING. ONE RAILRAOD 
BRIDGE HAS BEEN OVERTOPPED. IT WILL TAKE SOME TIME FOR THESE FLOOD 
WATERS TO RECEDE. AVOID ALL FLOODED AREAS.

THIS EXTENDS THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING PREVIOUSLY IN EFFECT FOR 
NORTHWEST PIMA COUNTY.
