THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  SOUTHERN LE FLORE COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 500 AM CDT

* AT 203 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAIN        
  ALONG A LINE EXTENDING FROM 2 MILES SOUTH OF WISTER TO 3 MILES       
  SOUTHWEST OF WHITESBORO...MOVING SOUTHEAST AT 35 MPH.

  RADAR INDICATES THAT THUNDERSTORMS LATE SUNDAY EVENING PRODUCED    
  2 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN OVER THE WARNED AREA. ANOTHER 1 TO 2 INCHES  
  OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 500 AM WITH AN ANOTHER AREA OF
  THUNDERSTORMS CURRENTLY MOVING INTO THE WARNED AREA.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN
  INCLUDE WISTER...HOWE...FANSHAWE...HEAVENER...TALIHINA...
  WHITESBORO...MUSE AND BIG CEDAR.

CAMPERS IN THE STATE PARKS AND THE OUACHITA NATIONAL FOREST IN 
SOUTHERN LEFLORE COUNTY SHOULD BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS EARLY THIS 
MORNING AS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE SMALL STREAMS TO QUICKLY 
FLOW OUT OF THEIR BANKS. IF YOU ARE CAMPING NEAR A STREAM...EVEN A 
SMALL ONE...MOVE TO HIGHER GROUND IMMEDIATELY. STREAMS...EVEN SMALL 
ONES...CAN BECOME KILLERS IN A MATTER OF MINUTES WHEN SWOLLEN WITH 
FLOOD WATERS.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.

A FLASH FLOOD WARNING MEANS THAT FLOODING IS IMMINENT. IT IS
IMPORTANT TO KNOW WHERE YOU ARE RELATIVE TO STREAMS...RIVERS...OR
CREEKS WHICH CAN BECOME KILLERS IN HEAVY RAINS. CAMPERS SHOULD AVOID
