THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  NORTHERN PITTSBURG COUNTY IN SOUTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 500 AM CDT

* AT 259 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN 2
  MILES WEST OF BLOCKER...MOVING SOUTH AT 20 MPH.

RADAR INDICATES THAT 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN OVER 
THE WARNED AREA. ANOTHER 1 TO 3 INCHES WILL BE POSSIBLE THROUGH 500 
AM CDT. HEAVY RAINS FROM FRIDAY HAVE INCREASED THE RISK FOR FLASH 
FLOODING WITH ADDITIONAL RAIN ACROSS PITTSBURG COUNTY.

AT 3 AM...A STORM SPOTTER REPORTED STANDING WATER ON HIGHWAY 69 AT 
THE HIGHWAY 110 MILE MARKER.  

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN 
INCLUDE FEATHERSTON...CANADIAN...INDIANOLA...CROWDER...BLOCKER...
ALDERSON...HARTSHORNE...AND SAVANNA.

BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE
DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. IF FLASH FLOODING IS OBSERVED ACT
QUICKLY. MOVE UP TO HIGHER GROUND TO ESCAPE FLOOD WATERS. DO NOT STAY
IN AREAS SUBJECT TO FLOODING WHEN WATER BEGINS RISING.
