THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN TULSA HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR
  SOUTHERN ROGERS COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA
  WAGONER COUNTY IN NORTHEAST OKLAHOMA

* UNTIL 930 AM CDT

* AT 736 AM CDT RADAR INDICATED THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAIN
  MOVING ACROSS WAGONER AND SOUTHERN ROGERS COUNTIES. MOVEMENT WAS
  SOUTH AT 15 MPH. MAJOR STREET FLOODING FLOODING WAS REPORTED ON
  SOUTHWEST BOULEVARD IN INOLA AND ON LONE STAR ROAD EAST OF COWETA.

  RADAR INDICATES THAT 4 TO 6 INCHES OF RAIN HAS ALREADY FALLEN
  OVER THE WARNED AREA. ANOTHER INCH OF RAIN WILL BE POSSIBLE
  THROUGH 930 AM CDT.

* SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL CONTINUE TO BE AFFECTED BY THE HEAVY RAIN
  INCLUDE ONETA...COWETA...STONEBLUFF...PORTER...TULLAHASSEE...
  TIAWAH...VERDIGRIS...INOLA AND CLAREMORE.

ALTHOUGH HEAVY RAIN HAS DIMINISHED SOMEWHAT OVER THE PAST FEW
HOURS...EXCESSIVE OVERNIGHT RAINS WILL STILL CAUSE MAJOR FLOODING
PROBLEMS IN INOLA AND ACROSS PARTS OF WAGONER COUNTY NORTH OF
HIGHWAY 51. THE INOLA POLICE DEPARTMENT HAS REPORTED MAJOR STREET
FLOODING IN THE CITY OF INOLA AND ALSO ACROSS HIGHWAY 88 BETWEEN
INOLA AND CLAREMORE. ADDITIONAL RAINS THROUGH 9 AM WILL AGGRAVATE
THE FLOODING IN THESE AREAS.

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATERR COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER MAY BE TOO DEEP TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY.
VEHICLES CAUGHT IN RISING WATER SHOULD BE ABANDONED QUICKLY. MOVE TO
HIGHER GROUND.
