IRION COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL TEXAS * UNTIL 400 AM CDT * AT 105 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED HEAVY RAIN OVER MUCH OF IRION COUNTY. THESE THUNDERSTORMS WERE PRODUCING RAINFALL AT THE RATE OF UP TO 2 INCHES PER HOUR AS THEY DRIFTED SOUTH AT 20 MPH. THIS RAINFALL IS IN ADDITION TO THE HEAVY RAIN THAT FELL LATE MONDAY EVENING OVER IRION COUNTY. THIS FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR ALL OF IRION COUNTY IS AN EXTENSION OF THE FLASH FLOOD WARNING THAT WAS IN EFFECT UNTIL 130 AM FOR WESTERN IRION COUNTY. DO NOT DRIVE INTO AREAS WHERE WATER COVERS THE ROAD. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS SAFELY. DO NOT ATTEMPT TO DRIVE AROUND BARRICADES.
