THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  SHANNON COUNTY IN SOUTH CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 615 PM CDT

* AT 318 PM CDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL BETWEEN MOUNTAIN VIEW AND 
BIRCH TREE...AS WELL AS WEST OF EMINENCE.  THE STORMS WERE MOVING 
SLOWLY TO THE EAST...AND HAVE PRODUCED 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN.

* AN ADDITIONAL 1 TO 2 INCHES OF RAIN WILL LEAD TO RAPID RISES ON 
AREA CREEKS AND FLOOD PRONE AREAS FROM MOUNTAIN VIEW TO EMINENCE TO 
WINONA...ESPECIALLY SPRING CREEK AND BIRCH CREEK.  THESE STORMS MAY 
ALSO PRODUCE HAIL AND STRONG GUSTY WINDS
