THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN SPRINGFIELD HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  BARTON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST MISSOURI

* UNTIL 745 PM CST

* AT 448 PM CST...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH VERY HEAVY RAINFALL OVER NORTHERN AND WESTERN 
BARTON COUNTY HAVE PRODUCED 2 TO 3 INCHES OF RAIN. NUMEROUS STORMS 
WILL CONTINUE TO MOVE OVER THIS REGION FOR THE NEXT SEVERAL 
HOURS...PRODUCING AN ADDITIONAL ONE TO TWO INCHES OF RAIN...LEADING 
TO FLASH FLOODING.

* SLOW MOVING THUNDERSTORMS ARE PRODUCING TORRENTIAL RAINFALL IN THE
  WARNED AREA. RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE FLASH
  FLOODING TO OCCUR. SOME LOCATIONS THAT WILL EXPERIENCE FLASH

EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL
CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY
ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS...STREAMS AND OTHER LOW
LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING.
