HALIFAX COUNTY IN NORTH CAROLINA * UNTIL 200 AM EDT * AT 1048 PM EDT LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT OFFICIALS REPORTED FLASH FLOODING IN THE WARNED AREA. * THE GROUND HAS ALREADY BEEN SATURATED BY RECENT RAINFALL IN THE WARNED AREA...AND ADDITIONAL RAIN WILL RUNOFF AND CONTINUE FLOODING. BE ESPECIALLY CAUTIOUS AT NIGHT WHEN IT IS HARDER TO RECOGNIZE THE DANGERS OF FLOODS AND FLASH FLOODS. ABSOLUTELY DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
