WESTERN MONTANA AND NORTH CENTRAL IDAHO FORECAST DISCUSSION NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE MISSOULA MT 230 PM MDT MON MAY 28 2001 TROUGH MOVING INTO THE CWA EARLY THIS AFTERNOON. HAVE SEEN LITTLE TO NO PRECIP ASSOCIATED WITH THE TROUGH AS IT HAS BEEN MOVING ACROSS WA/OR. WILL KEEP A SLIGHT CHANCE OF SHOWERS IN FOR TONIGHT AS THE TROUGH MOVES THROUGH THE AREA. WILL CONFINE THE MENTION OF THUNDERSTORMS TO SOUTHWESTERN MONTANA. ON TUESDAY THE TROUGH HAS MOVED TO THE EAST AS THE UPPER LEVEL FLOW TURNS TO WESTERLY. AFTER SOME LINGERING MORNING SHOWERS...WILL GO DRY AND COOLER TUESDAY AND TUESDAY NIGHT. ON WEDNESDAY THE CWA IS IN A TRANSITION WITH THE BUILDING OF A RIDGE.
