* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
MADISON COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS
ST. CLAIR COUNTY IN SOUTHWEST ILLINOIS
* UNTIL 300 PM CDT
* AT 1116 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED
THUNDERSTORMS PRODUCING VERY HEAVY RAIN IN EASTERN JERSEY COUNTY
ALONG HIGHWAY 67. THESE STORMS HAVE BEEN INCREASING AND WILL PASS
OVER THE SAME AREA THAT RECEIVED HEAVY RAINS EARLY THIS MORNING.
EXTREMELY HEAVY RAINFALL WILL MOVE SOUTH THROUGH THE ILLINOIS SIDE
OF THE ST LOUIS METRO AREA BETWEEN NOW AND 130 PM. ADDITIONAL
RAINFALL AMOUNTS OF 1 TO 2 INCHES FALLING ON ALREADY SATURATED
GROUND WILL CREATE RAPID RUNOFF AND FLASH FLOODING, ESPECIALLY
IN CITIES AND TOWNS INCLUDING ALTON...MARYVILLE...COLLINSVILLE...
