THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JASPER COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI
  CLARKE COUNTY IN EAST CENTRAL MISSISSIPPI

* UNTIL 915 AM CDT

* AT 512 AM CDT...LOCAL LAW ENFORCEMENT IN CLARKE COUNTY REPORTED 
INTERMITTENT PERIODS OF VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WITH STREETS BEGINNING 
TO FLOOD. DOPPLER RADAR INDICATES HOURLY RAINFALL RATES OF ONE TO 
ONE AND ONE HALF INCHES OCCURRING OVER JASPER AND CLARKE COUNTIES 
WITH MORE SHOWERS AND STORMS EXPECTED INTO THE MID MORNING HOURS. 
LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING IS LIKELY ACROSS THESE COUNTIES UNTIL 915 
AM CDT. 

SOILS ACROSS JASPER AND CLARKE COUNTIES ARE ALREADY SATURATED FROM 
PREVIOUS HEAVY RAINFALL. ANY ADDITIONAL VERY HEAVY RAIN FROM THIS 
MORNINGS SHOWERS AND STORMS WILL MOST LIKELY RUN OFF AND CAUSE 
FLASH FLOODING. 

FURTHERMORE...A FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT ACROSS THIS AREA 
THROUGH TODAY.
