RUSSELL COUNTY IN CENTRAL KANSAS * UNTIL 500 AM CDT * AT 158 AM CDT...WEATHER SERVICE RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAINFALL WAS OCCURRING ACROSS CENTRAL AND EASTERN RUSSELL COUNTY. LAW ENFORCEMENT REPORTED NUMEROUS RURAL ROADS WERE WASHED OUT NEAR MILBERGER IN THE SOUTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY...AS WELL AS NEAR WALDO AND LURAY IN THE NORTHERN PART OF THE COUNTY. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...ROADS AND UNDERPASSES...AS WELL AS OTHER POOR DRAINAGE AREAS.
