COMAL KENDALL * UNTIL 700 PM CDT * AT 455 PM...WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED VERY HEAVY RAIN OVER SOUTHERN KENDALL AND WESTERN COMAL COUNTIES MOVING NORTH AT 20 MPH. EXCESSIVE RUNOFF FROM THIS STORM WILL CAUSE FLASH FLOODING OF SMALL CREEKS AND STREAMS...HIGHWAYS AND UNDERPASSES. ADDITIONALLY...COUNTRY ROADS AND FARMLANDS ALONG THE BANKS OF CREEKS AND STREAMS AND OTHER LOW LYING AREAS ARE SUBJECT TO FLASH FLOODING. SECONDARY ROADS...LOW WATER CROSSINGS AND BRIDGES MAY FLOOD ACROSS NORTH AND WESTERN COMAL AND KENDALL COUNTIES DURING THE NEXT FEW HOURS. MOTORISTS SHOULD NOT ENTER LOW WATER CROSSINGS AS 80 PERCENT OF FLOOD FATALITIES OCCUR THIS WAY. DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE ROADWAY.
