THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE IN PLEASANT HILL HAS ISSUED A

* FLASH FLOOD WARNING FOR...
  JACKSON COUNTY IN WEST CENTRAL MISSOURI

* UNTIL 945 PM CDT

* AT 649 PM CDT...RADAR ESTIMATED 3 TO 4 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN 
IN JACKSON COUNTY SINCE LATE THIS AFTERNOON.  ALSO WEATHER SPOTTERS 
REPORTED VERY HEAVY RAIN IN JACKSON COUNTY.

* ADDITIONAL HEAVY RAINFALL WILL LEAD TO RAPID RISES...AND THE 
THREAT OF FLASH FLOODING IN THE LEES SUMMIT TO LONE JACK AREAS.


DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
